Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a form of specific training and the external application of remedies, the primary aim of which is to restore, improve or maintain the human body's ability to move and function.

This includes the holistic therapy of the body, oriented to the anatomical and physiological conditions. We support and accompany you in your healing process with targeted and individually tailored therapeutic measures.

Body composition measurement

Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA)

In modern medicine, nutritional and health status is no longer assessed by weight or body fat percentage, but by the very complex body composition. Bioelectrical impedance analysis is a professional and scientifically based method to be able to determine this body composition.

Based on the principle of resistance measurement, the relationship between fat, water and muscle proportions of the body is analyzed safely and quickly. By means of two electrodes, each connected to the surfaces of the hands and feet, an imperceptible alternating current is passed through the body. Based on the specific conductivity of water, muscle and fat, the composition of the body is calculated. The current strengths used are harmless and imperceptible to the body.

When is the BIA useful?

  • for weight management (obesity, overweight or underweight)
  • in improving strength and endurance
  • for ambitious athletes
  • to check the nutritional therapy for diseases
  • for people who want to know more than just a number on the scale

When is no measurement possible?

  • for pacemakers (Pacemaker)
  • for electrical implants
  • During pregnancy

Are the costs for the measurement covered by the health insurance?
For cost coverage, ask your health insurance or your supplementary insurance in advance.
